Toyota brings social networking into the driving experience, with the launch of the Toyota Friend service.
Toyota Friend will send in-car tweets to drivers about issues such as low battery levels, as well as allow the driver to communicate with customer service centres and dealerships via Twitter and Facebook.
The social networking service will roll out in electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in Japan from next year.
