Making a movie about a disease outbreak? Who better to star on your billboard than some live and growing bacteria?
That’s what Warner Brothers did to promote their upcoming movie, Contagion.
Warner Brothers injected the billboard with bacteria in specially shaped petri dishes, and over the course of a week the word ‘Contagion’ grew. Cringe worthy, but a great example of how to bring theatre to advertising.
