To show how easy it is to book a hotel with Hotels.com, a parachute jumper took on the challenge to book accommodation on an iPhone while free falling from a plane. Did he succeed? Absolutely!
In the time that it took for the parachute jumper to hurl himself out of the plane and land heavily, he had launched the app, selected his hotel and booked the accommodation.
Perhaps the “free fall” test should be applied to every new app to ensure user experience is at its best.
