New York Writes Itself is an ongoing series of creative productions fuelled by the real people of New York.
To capture the everyday creativity of New York citizens, the series aims to collect real stories told through writing, music, art and film.
New Yorkers are encouraged to record what they see and hear on what the curator, Leo Burnett, calls The Script. Selected stories and experiences will be produced into posters, music videos, short films, and exhibitions.
A great initiative to discover the talents of everyday people and use social media to spread community stories.
