Kern Type

Feel like you’re a bit of a typography connoisseur? Think Helvetica is overused and Comic Sans is just misunderstood? Either way Kern Type could be just the site you’ve been looking for.

The idea is simple. Using the arrow keys or mouse, you aim to achieve pleasant and readable text by distributing the space between letters. The website will then compare your solution with that of the typographer’s, and give your effort a rating out of 100.

For the more adept, Shape Type might be more of a challenge.
