For the 2011 New York City Marathon Asics wanted fans to truly experience a champion marathon runner’s 26.2 mile pace.
In NYC’s Columbus Circle subway station tunnel they challenged anyone to race long distance runner, Ryan Hall for just 60 feet. On the giant video screen that covered the tunnel wall, competitors were given 10 seconds warning that Ryan was approaching and then they raced him. Even Ryan Hall turned up to race himself.
