If you’re used to L’Oreal advertising being pretty, then this ad could scare you a little.
To promote L’Oreal’s Dermablend brand, Rick Genest, a Canadian artist and model more commonly known as “Zombie Boy” was hired. Genest is known as Zombie Boy because he is covered in tattoos.
The ad, which aims to highlight how much coverage the Dermablend make-up can provide shows what appears to be Genest with no tattoos. As the ad rolls on and Genest wipes his make-up away, the full extent of his tattoos is revealed and we are left with a very good illustration of how good Dermablend is.
