Underwear business hits the streets

Published on the 27th March 2012

Vending machines have brought plenty of unexpected products to the streets of the world’s major cities – from seafood, to books and baked goods.

As bricks and mortar businesses become less profitable, a start-up underwear company – MeUndies – is offering products via its vending machines, as well as via an online subscription service. Site users offer feedback on their underwear preferences (in terms of styles, colours and so on) and then the company stocks its range accordingly. Members pay $16 to receive one item a month, which includes shipping within the US.

As for the vending machines, there are plans to expand locations within airports, hotels and fitness centres – basically wherever you might have the need!

Welcome to the age of convenient, affordable and readily available underwear!
