To promote the Nike+ fitness tracking technology that has been integrated within their shoes in the past year, Nike has released a new video campaign ‘Game On, World‘.
The Nike+ Pressure Sensor is used to track the movements of the person wearing the shoes and that data is wirelessly transmitted to the user’s smartphone.
This campaign takes the technology to another level by adding gamification; letting people compete against themselves, their friends or strangers around the world.
The video below is Nike’s way of promoting this campaign and highlighting the gaming aspect in what looks like a real life version of Super Mario Brothers.
