Some people like to have their opinions heard loud and clear, and opinions on politics could be said to be one of the most hotly debated topics. But would you want your political opinions splashed over Times Square?
From this week, Facebook users can head to 2012 Matters to share their opinions on all things that matter from the economy, to health care and the environment. The initiative has been launched in collaboration with Facebook, and invites people to choose what issues they care about in this year’s US election to be displayed beside their profile picture on a billboard in Times Square, NYC.
As everyday people turn to Facebook to express their thoughts, it will be interesting to see if people are really willing to put their money where their mouth is and put their face to their statements.
